Star of Indiana Alumni Corps to perform at DCI

Last weekend, former Star of Indiana members returned to action at the corps, headquarters in Bloomington, Ind.

This was the alumni corps' fourth rehearsal camp since last year, says Star Alumni Association President Nancy Brown. The group has reunited for a featured performance at the 2010 Drum Corps International World Championship Semifinals on Aug. 13 in Indianapolis.

"Turnout has been pretty good," said Brown. "As word has spread, our attendance has grown. This past weekend we had more than 100 brass players."
