Just a few things that some of the drum corps alumni organizations have accomplished in recent years:
* Cavaliers. In 2008, the Cavaliers Alumni raised over half a million dollars for their junior corps.
* Boston Crusaders. Current DCI finalist. Returned to competition many years ago due in part to major contributions from alumni.
* Blue Stars. Current DCI finalist. Returned to competition just a few years ago due to large alumni support.
* Troopers. Brought back from the dead just three years ago after major financial and IRS issues. Current DCI finalist. Returned because of major productive work and financial support from alumni. Executive Director named Director of the year 2009.
* Velvet Knights. Brought back to the field as an open class corps that tours just three years ago due to large alumni support.
These outstanding accomplishments demonstrate the importance of a strong Alumni Association.
