August Meeting of Board of Directors
The monthly meeting of The Kingsmen Starcorps Board of Directors is scheduled for Sunday, August 21st, 2011 at 1PM in Irvine, CA.

March with The Kingsmen Halloween Corps!

This is an open invitation to one and all, ages 15 and up, to march with the Kingsmen Drum and Bugle Corps in the annual Anaheim Spooktacular Parade on Saturday October 29th, 2011. This will mark the 5th year that we have participated in this parade.
For the parade we need percussion, brass and guard personnel. We could also use 2 youngsters to carry the banner in front of the corps. We are asking for a $20 donation to help with expenses and to help defray the cost of an after-parade event. The parade starts at 6 P.M.
Music rehearsals are planned for Thursday nights at the Los Alamitos Joint Forces Training Base from 6 – 9 P.M. They will be held in the 40th Infantry Division Band room. Directions and more information can be found on our website: http://kingsmendrumcorps.org. Please confirm if you plan to attend.
You do not need a Kingsmen uniform to participate in the parade. You will need to wear a black t-shirt, black pants, black socks, black marching shoes and a black cowboy hat, as we plan on playing “Ghost Riders in the Sky.” If you do have a Kingsmen uniform, you should wear it. New/prospective Kingsmen members should bring their own instruments. (Both G and Bb Brass)
